Pricing & Plans

What's the difference between Get Listed, Get Found, and Get Known?

Three tiers, three jobs.

Get Listed — $30/mo ($1/day). You exist on the map. Your halal business is featured on UmmahPlaces, you get a verified halal badge, you appear in our halal directory, and you have a real owner dashboard. No banner ads. This is the cheapest way to be discoverable to Muslim families searching for halal in your city.

Get Found — $150/mo ($5/day). Active marketing. Everything in Get Listed *plus* banner ads rotating across the Muslim Ad Network (100+ Muslim-owned publishers + UmmahPlaces + UmmahPass), a Juma Deal of the Week slot, QR check-in counter (auto-IDs UmmahPass members), and community spotlights. This is where most halal businesses start.

Get Known — $300/mo ($10/day). Growth partner. Everything in Get Found *plus* custom audience targeting (DMP), monthly strategy call with Tab (UMG founder), fresh banner creative each month, and a target of around 25 new Muslim customers per month. If your goal is volume, this is the tier.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Every tier is month-to-month. There is no contract, no minimum term, no cancellation fee.

To cancel: log into your Stripe customer portal (link in your welcome email or owner dashboard), click Cancel. Done. No phone call. No "let me transfer you to retention." No 30-day notice required.

Your listing stays live for the rest of the billing period you already paid for, then drops back to a free non-spotlight directory entry on UmmahPlaces.

We earn the next month every single month. That is the only honest way to do this.

What if I don't get 25 customers in month 1?

Honest answer first: 25 new Muslim customers/month is the *target* on Get Known, not a contract guarantee. We don't promise specific revenue numbers because anyone who does is lying to you.

What we do promise: if your first month delivers fewer than 10 new Muslim customers, your second month is free. No arguments, no fine print. We keep iterating creative + targeting with you on the same price until it works.

We earn this back many times over by retaining customers who see real lift. The businesses that stay six months stay forever.

This applies to Get Found and Get Known tiers. Get Listed is listing-only — no marketing happening — so the guarantee doesn't apply there.

Do you have a free trial?

No traditional free trial. But here's why that's actually fairer:

A 14-day free trial sounds nice, but for a marketing campaign it's a trap. Banner ads need ~7-10 days just to learn. By day 14 we'd be cancelling the trial right when results were arriving.

Instead: month-to-month with no commitment. Your first month is your trial. If it doesn't work, you cancel. We keep our reputation honest, you keep your money.

Plus: the $1/day Get Listed tier is essentially a "try the ecosystem" entry point. $30 to be discoverable + dashboard + halal badge for a full month.

Is there a contract?

No contract. No minimum term. No cancellation fee. No "12-month commitment for the lower price."

You authorize a monthly Stripe subscription. Charge runs once a month. You can cancel inside 60 seconds from your Stripe portal anytime.

The closest thing to a "contract" is the monthly invoice you receive — for your books and accountant. That's it.

Compare to Yelp's standard 12-month contract or DoorDash's commission lock-in. We're betting our service is good enough to keep you without legal handcuffs.

How It Works

How does UmmahLocal find customers for my shop?

Three layers, all running simultaneously:

1. Discovery (passive). Your business is featured on UmmahPlaces — the Muslim-owned directory. Muslim families searching "halal restaurants near me" or browsing their city's halal map find you. Verified halal badge + reviews.

2. Outbound reach (active). Your banner ad rotates across 100+ Muslim-owned publisher sites in the Muslim Ad Network — Islamic news sites, Quran apps, Muslim job boards, masjid websites. Plus UmmahPass dashboards, UmmahCauses donor pages, and UmmahPlaces category pages. Geo-targeted to your city.

3. Trigger moments. Juma Deal of the Week posts hit Friday at noon when Muslim families are planning the weekend. Ramadan/Eid campaigns activate seasonally. QR check-in lets your in-store customers earn UmmahPass points and bring back family.

You're reaching Muslims where they already spend their digital time — not begging Meta or Google to show your ad to "interested people" they made up.

How fast can I go live?

Same week. Often same day.

Hour 1: Payment confirmed → welcome email with dashboard login + QR code + printable table tent.

Day 1-2: We audit your existing UmmahPlaces listing (or create one if you don't have one), verify halal status, write your first creative brief.

Day 3: Banner ads go live on the Muslim Ad Network. Listing pinned to top of UmmahPlaces in your category for your metro.

Day 5: QR signage shipped (Get Found and Get Known tiers).

Day 7: First weekly performance report in your inbox.

If you're already on UmmahPlaces and your listing is complete, the audit step takes ~2 hours and ads are live the same day.

What's MAN (Muslim Ad Network)?

MAN — Muslim Ad Network — is the original Muslim-focused advertising network. Founded in 2009. Headquartered in California. Same ownership as UmmahLocal (we're both products of Ummah Media Group).

MAN reaches 250M+ Muslims/month across 100+ Muslim-owned publishers — Islamic news sites (IslamicCity, AboutIslam), Muslim app inventory (Quran companion apps, prayer time apps, Islamic calendar apps), Muslim job boards, masjid websites, Muslim charity sites, and our own properties (UmmahPlaces, UmmahPass, UmmahCauses, UmmahJobs, MuslimTorrents).

When you sign up for UmmahLocal Get Found or Get Known, your banner ads run inside MAN's inventory. Our ad ops team (Saad, Alisha, Khaled) builds the creative, sets the targeting, and optimizes weekly.

Translation: you don't go through Google or Meta. You reach Muslim families where they already are — on Muslim sites built by Muslims, for Muslims.

Does my listing show up on Google?

Yes — but that's not the main play.

Every UmmahPlaces listing gets full schema.org JSON-LD markup, sitemap inclusion, and Google indexing. Our domain (ummahplaces.com) ranks for "halal [city]" searches. We had 909 URLs indexed within 5 days of launch. Direct traffic + organic search are pulling around 32% of our visitors.

But Google is *not* where the Muslim family-of-six finds your zabiha shop. They find you via WhatsApp shares, masjid bulletins, Friday emails from Muslim newsletters, and word-of-mouth in their local community.

UmmahLocal targets that real-world layer. The Google ranking is a bonus — not the strategy.

Can I customize my ad creative?

Yes. You approve every creative before it goes live.

Get Listed: No banner ads. You control your UmmahPlaces listing photos, hours, menu, and copy directly from your owner dashboard.

Get Found: We design 2-3 banner sizes for you in MAN's standard formats (300×250, 728×90, 320×50). You see proofs and approve before launch. Refreshed every quarter.

Get Known: Fresh creative every month. We design, you approve, we ship. Plus you get monthly creative direction from Tab on what's working.

If you have your own designer or existing brand assets, send them — we'll use yours and just adapt to MAN's tech specs. No upcharge.

Trust & Brand

Who is Ummah Media Group?

Ummah Media Group LLC — California-based since 2009. Started as Muslim Ad Network (the original Muslim ad network) and grew into a media + tech company serving the global Muslim ummah.

Today UMG runs:

- Muslim Ad Network — programmatic ads on 100+ Muslim publishers - UmmahPlaces — halal business directory (839 listings, 3,358 reviews) - UmmahPass — Muslim identity / SSO platform - UmmahCauses — charity donations + Stripe Connect - UmmahJobs — Muslim job board (30K+ users) - UmmahLocal — what you're reading about - ummah.email — Muslim-owned email infrastructure (no ads, no scanning)

Operated by Ummah Media Group LLC, US-incorporated since 2009. The same team whose contact is on every UmmahLocal page. No layers. No outsourced support. No private equity.

Muslim-owned. Family-run. Built for the ummah.

Is my data safe?

Short answer: yes. Longer:

Where it lives: All UmmahLocal data lives on Muslim-owned infrastructure (Hetzner servers in Germany, operated by UMG, hardened by us). No AWS, no Google Cloud, no third-party data brokers.

What we collect: Your business name, owner contact, listing photos, performance reports. That's it. We don't touch your customers' data unless they explicitly opt in via UmmahPass.

What we never do: Sell data to third parties. Run ML models on your customer base for someone else. Pass data to Meta/Google. Scan your email.

Payment data: Goes directly to Stripe — we never see your card. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.

Your reports: Stay between us and you. Tab + the ad ops team can see your performance. Nobody else.

Why $1/day? What's the catch?

No catch. The math actually works.

Most agency-style halal marketing quotes you see ($2K-$5K/mo) are pricing in 60-70% margin for the agency. We don't have that overhead because:

1. MAN's ad inventory is in-house. We're not paying Google/Meta a 30% markup — we own the publisher network. 2. Our ad ops is automated. AI agents draft creative briefs, traffic campaigns, monitor pacing. Humans (Saad + Alisha) review + approve. 3. Listing infrastructure is already built. UmmahPlaces, UmmahPass, MAN — these all existed before UmmahLocal. We're packaging existing assets. 4. Volume. We need 100+ businesses on this product to keep pricing this low. So yes, you're getting an early price. And yes, that's a real reason to sign up sooner.

The "catch" is that $30/mo gets you listing-only. To get the marketing layer (banners + Juma deals + QR), you're at $150/mo. But that's still a fraction of agency pricing.

Has anyone else signed up?

Yes — and the early case studies are public.

La Familia Tacos (halal Mexican grill, Norco CA) was UmmahLocal's first signed customer. Owner: Asad Raza. See his proposal at ummah.agency/local/lafamilia.

So Cal Meat Co. (zabiha butcher + Mongolian BBQ + Wok N Grill, San Bernardino CA) — 4-brand bundle at $1,500/mo. Owner: Yasir. Proposal at ummah.agency/local/socalmeat.

Metro Aztec (halal Mexican, Phoenix AZ) — Get Found tier. Proposal at ummah.agency/local/metroaztec.

We're publishing real proposals on the live site. Not stock photos. Not "case studies" hidden behind a sales call. Real numbers, real owners, real signoffs.

🎯

Targeting & Audience

Can I target only my city?

Yes. Geo-targeting is metro-level by default.

When you sign up, you pick your metro from a list (SoCal, NYC Tri-State, Texas, DC Metro, Chicago, Florida, Toronto, London, etc.). Your ads only run inside that metro. No wasted impressions in cities where customers will never drive to you.

If your business serves a smaller area (a single neighborhood, a specific zip code radius), tell us in your custom proposal request. On Get Known we can drill down to specific zips or even masjid-radius targeting for businesses that serve a tight geography.

For multi-location chains: we can run separate creative per metro. Don't pay for one banner showing across all your cities.

Can I target families vs young professionals?

Yes — at the Get Known tier, custom audience segments.

UmmahPass behavioral data lets us segment:

- Families with kids — checked into halal restaurants with high-chair filter, donated to orphan causes, viewed bakery aqiqah pages - Young Muslim professionals — UmmahJobs active, UmmahPass linked to LinkedIn, checked into cafes during weekday afternoons - Ramadan-active — donated during Ramadan 2026, attended iftar events, opted into Ramadan content - Eid shoppers — viewed Eid-themed listings, redeemed Eid Juma Deals - Masjid-connected — linked to a MasjidConnect masjid, attends Friday prayer regularly

On Get Found, you get the standard "all Muslims in your metro" targeting (still way better than Meta lookalikes). On Get Known, we layer on these segments — usually 2-3 segments per campaign.

How do I know who's seeing my ads?

Weekly performance report in your inbox + live owner dashboard.

Report includes: - Impressions delivered (how many Muslim phones saw your ad) - Clicks → site visits - QR check-ins at your physical location (if you placed signage) - UmmahPlaces listing views + saves + reviews - New Muslim customers attributed (UmmahPass-verified IDs who bought) - Top creative + top day-of-week + top metro slice

Dashboard (live): - Real-time impression count - Geographic heatmap of who's seeing you - Top-performing creative

Privacy guarantee: You see *aggregated* customer data — counts, segments, behaviors. Never individual names, emails, or personal identifiers. UmmahPass members opted in to anonymized aggregation, not to having their data sold to advertisers.

Onboarding & Account

How do I claim my UmmahPlaces listing?

Two paths:

If you signed up via UmmahLocal checkout: Your listing is auto-claimed and linked to your owner dashboard within 1 hour of payment. You'll get an email with a "Set up your dashboard" button. Click it, log in with the email you paid with, and your listing is yours.

If your business already exists on UmmahPlaces but you haven't claimed it yet: Search ummahplaces.com for your business name → click "Claim this listing" on the listing page → verify via email or phone callback. Free. Takes 5 minutes.

If your business isn't on UmmahPlaces yet: Sign up for UmmahLocal Get Listed ($30/mo) and we create the listing as part of onboarding. Or submit it free at ummahplaces.com/submit (manual review, 3-5 business days).

How do I upload photos / change hours?

From your owner dashboard at ummahplaces.com/dashboard.

Photos: Click "Edit listing" → "Photos" → drag-and-drop. Cover photo (the one shown on cards) up top, gallery below. Recommended: 1200×800px, JPG or PNG, under 2MB per photo. Up to 20 photos per listing.

Hours: "Edit listing" → "Hours" → set per day. You can mark days closed or set holiday hours. Hours show on your card AND your full listing AND in our "Open now" filter.

Menu: "Edit listing" → "Menu" → upload PDF or use our menu builder (groups + items + prices + halal/zabiha badges).

Description, phone, website, social links: All editable from the same dashboard. Changes go live within 2 minutes.

How do I see my results?

Three places, depending on what you want to see:

Owner dashboard (live): ummahplaces.com/dashboard → "Performance" tab. Real-time impression count, click-through, listing views, saves, QR check-ins. Updates every 5 minutes.

Weekly email report: Hits your inbox every Monday morning. Last week's numbers + week-over-week deltas + what your top-performing creative was + which metro slice converted best.

Monthly strategy call (Get Known only): 30 minutes with Tab. We pull up your dashboard live, walk through what worked, what didn't, and adjust the plan for next month.

If you want a custom report (e.g., for your franchise HQ or your accountant), email salaam@ummah.agency and we'll generate it.
